Dinner For Two
The concept is simple: you choose a meal from the menu provided, and Heather from Heather’s Gourmet does the shopping, the cooking, the serving, and the cleaning afterward. It’s like bringing the restaurant to you. With three menu levels, Gourmet, Celebration, and Romantic, you are sure to find the perfect meal for any special occasion, or just a thoughtful gift. Also, try buying a gift certificate for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, anniversaries or birthdays. Sit back and relax while someone else prepares a gourmet meal and cleans up afterward.
You choose the menu level, pick one appetizer, one soup or salad, and entrée with two sides and a dessert. A la Carte (choosing items from different levels) is okay, but an additional service charge may be added.
Your dinner price includes a small flower arrangement, place settings (silverware, plates, napkins, wine and water glasses, a wine pairing suggestion, one appetizer, one soup or salad, one entrée with two sides and one dessert. Tax, tip, and delivery charge are extra.
Gourmet Menu
This level is $55 per person.
Appetizer
Caramelized Onion, Swiss and Tomato Tart: Flaky, golden brown pastry filled with a slice of tomato, caramelized onion and Swiss cheese, served on a bed of sautéed spinach.
*Cold Grilled Sausage Platter: Two flavors of grilled chicken sausage, served with 2 different kinds of mustard and crackers.
Soup or Salad
Cream of Carrot and Dill Soup: A simply delicious creamy carrot soup with fresh dill.
Vichyssoise: Classic cream of potato and leek soup, a great addition to any meal.
Corn Chowder: Creamy corn chowder with roasted red pepper.
Garden Salad: Mixed baby lettuce, fresh garden vegetables and your choice of dressings.
Pear, Walnut and Blue Cheese Salad: Mixed baby lettuces, crunchy candied walnuts, crumbled gorgonzola served with a balsamic Dijon dressing.
White Bean Tomato Salad: Canellini beans tossed with diced fire-roasted tomatoes, basil chiffonade and garlic, served with shredded parmesan and a balsamic reduction.
Entrée
Pan Seared Chicken Breast: An herb rubbed, seared and roasted chicken breast, served with a crimini mushroom sauce.
Country Style Pork Chop: An inch thick, robustly seasoned, bone-in pork chop, pan fried, served with spicy onion straws.
Salmon Grenoblaise: A 6 ounce fillet of Atlantic Salmon, seasoned with a perfect selection of spices and served with a lemon caper butter.
Orange Asian Salmon: A 6 ounce fillet of broiled Atlantic salmon, marinated in a simple blend of soy sauce and fresh orange juice.
*Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken: Boneless skinless chicken breasts, stuffed with pesto and provolone cheese, wrapped in paper thin slices of Prosciutto de Parma.
Dessert
Strawberry Pound Cake Trifle: Fresh sugared strawberries served over traditional vanilla pound cake, topped with vanilla whipped cream.
Pecan Pie Tart: Classic pecan pie in flaky pastry.
Blueberry Lemon Tart: Flaky pastry filled with creamy lemon curd, topped with a blueberry-lemon sauce.
Apple Dumplings: Granny Smith apple, wrapped in flaky pastry with cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar, served warm with vanilla ice cream.
Celebration Menu
This level is $65 per person.
Appetizer
Coconut Shrimp: Eight succulent shrimp encrusted in crunchy coconut, served with spicy Asian dipping sauce.
Cheese Plate: A shared plate of three cheeses served with a variety of seasonal fruits, mustard and crackers.
Crab Cakes: Lump crabmeat in a delicious, pan fried cake, served with Heather’s Gourmet signature cocktail sauce.
Soup or Salad
Anti Pasto Platter: A selection of Italian artisan sausages, cheeses, olives and roasted tomatoes, served with crusty Italian bread.
Tomato Cheese Soup: Cream of tomato soup with sharp cheddar, served with mini grilled gruyere sandwiches.
*Spinach Caprese Salad: Baby spinach tossed with a basil and balsamic vinaigrette, topped with fresh mozzerella, basil leaves and vine ripened tomatoes.
Entrée
Herb Roasted Cornish Game Hen: Served with your choice of pan gravy or a shallot, butter and wine sauce.
Pecan Encrusted Fish du Jour: Fresh seasonal fish, encrusted with chopped pecans, baked and served with a buerre noisette (toasted butter). Please call ahead for information about fish.

New York Cheesecake: Classic, delicious New York Style cheese cake, always a favorite.
Chocolate Dipped Fruit Platter: A shared plate of seasonal fruits dipped in chocolate.
Pistachio Cheesecake: If you like pistachio ice cream, this may become a new favorite: vanilla cheesecake liberally laced with lightly toasted pistachios.
Dark Chocolate Mousse: A light and delicious after dinner treat, this chocolate mousse will fill every chocolate craving.
Romantic Menu
This level is $75/person.

Chili Rubbed Shrimp with Avocado Corn Salsa: Spicy chilled shrimp served with a tangy and robust salsa.
Shrimp Cocktail: Large, chilled shrimp served with Heather’s Gourmet signature cocktail sauce.
*Smoked Salmon Mille Feuille: Three layers of thin whole wheat toast, chive crème fraiche, cold smoked salmon and ultra thin slivers of red onion.
Soup or Salad
Crab Salad: Lump crab meat, lime, avocado, jalapeno, red onion and fresh cilantro on a slice of tomato.
Entrée
Steak au Poivre: An 8 ounce filet mignon crusted with crushed peppercorns, served with a red wine sauce.
Broiled Ribeye: An inch thick steak, broiled to your specifications, served with caramelized onions and mushrooms or bleu cheese butter.
Garlic and Rosemary Roast Rack of Lamb: Liberally seasoned with fresh garlic and rosemary, this delicious roasted lamb is served with a red wine sauce and mint jelly on the side.
Veal Marsala: Tender pan fried veal in a Marsala and mushroom sauce, served with pan fried cheese polenta. Choose only one side for this entrée.
*Parmesan and Herb Scallops: Jumbo sea scallops breaded with grated parmesan, herbs and bread crumbs.
Dessert
Chocolate Truffle Cake: The finest of desserts created by Heather’s Gourmet, this cake is a two layer flourless chocolate torte, filled and frosted with chocolate truffle filling. Truly a decadent dessert, choose regular, amaretto, orange or kahlua flavor.
